Be Inspired | Do Good
Interview with Marie Aprile, the Director at WSLS 10:
Marie Aprile’s journey has transformed her from a once-ostracized, shy young girl into a director for a local NBC affiliate and an advocate for chronic illness and disability. Now, her mission is to show others suffering from chronic diseases, such as multiple hereditary exostoses and fibromyalgia, that they can live positive, fulfilling lives despite being plagued by illness. Marie’s social media presence has connected her with thousands of people with MHE around the world. Marie encourages anyone with a chronic disease to talk about it, and she hopes that others will listen, because seeing what a person looks like isn’t always a reflection of what they feel on the inside.
