This week on Roanoke Podcast for Good, Hal speaks with Levi Buck. Levi works as an analyst for Supply Chain Visions, managing small business and economic development. He recently undertook a project to map out manufacturing supply chains in three struggling economies in the US Southern Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, Central Oklahoma. Levi is most well-known in Roanoke for his work facilitating ScaleUp, a Small Business Administration pilot program, where he worked with 60 existing small businesses across the Valley to help them build sustainable, organized growth plans. Levi is an East Tennessee boy at heart, where he grew up with a love for Tennessee football, real Appalachian culture and a genuine love for mountains, woods, and little towns. He loves big towns too. Our conversation will follow the challenges Levi faced with his recent manufacturing supply chain project, successes with ScaleUp and his tips for small business owners.
